Miami, FL – June 20, 2016 – Bankruptcy attorney Alan Rosenberg and probate and guardianship attorney Carly Weiss have joined the law firm of Markowitz Ringel Trusty + Hartog as Associates.
Rosenberg’s practice focuses on representing chapter 7 and chapter 11 bankruptcy trustees, as well as creditors, debtors and other parties in all aspects of insolvency proceedings and bankruptcy-related litigation. He was previously an Associate with Tabas, Freedman & Soloff, P.A. Rosenberg is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida and the Miami-Dade County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance from the University of Florida.
Weiss practices in the firm’s Probate & Guardianship group. Her prior experience includes prosecuting and litigating cases of abuse, abandonment, and neglect involving child welfare. She was previously a Senior Attorney with Children’s Legal Services at the State of Florida Department of Children & Families in Miami. Weiss will incorporate her experience litigating difficult family matters concerning children with matters involving the elderly, incapacitated persons, probate estates, and guardianship issues. Weiss is admitted to practice in Florida and New York. She holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
