Ross Hartog Named Vice-Chair of Bankruptcy Lawyer Advisory Committee

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLMarch 8, 2018 – Shareholder Ross R. Hartog named Vice-Chair of the Bankruptcy Lawyers Advisory Committee, a committee recently created by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida to act as a liaison between the Court and bankruptcy law practitioners throughout the district.  Hartog’s term runs through 2019.

Recognized for the past 10 years by Best Lawyers® in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, shareholder Hartog concentrates on the representation of trustees, creditors, creditors’ committees, and debtors in cases proceeding under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code as well as receivers and assignees for the benefit of creditors. He is a Chapter 7 and 11 Bankruptcy Trustee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. Hartog is ranked in Chambers USA and named a 2017 Florida Super Lawyer and named to the Top 100 Miami Super Lawyers list, a 2017Top Lawyer in the South Florida Legal Guide and a 2017 Florida Trend Magazine Legal Elite. He was a finalist in the Lifestyle Media Group’s Leaders in Law 2015 Award in the bankruptcy law category.
