Good news. Congress passed legislation to contribute another $480 million to its COVID-19 response and it was signed into law by the President on April 24, 2020. $310 million of the money will be used to fund and reopen the Paycheck Protection Program while another $10 billion is dedicated to Economic Injury Disaster Loan grants. More good news is the fact that $75 billion will be provided to hospitals and $25 billion will be used to develop and administer COVID-19 tests.
