FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – February 17, 2022 – Alan R. Rosenberg, a partner in the firm’s Restructuring + Insolvency practice group, moderated a panel entitled “Cryptocurrency Management Strategies in Bankruptcy” for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Caribbean Insolvency Symposium held in Key Largo, Florida February 7-9, 2022. The panel provided an update on cryptocurrency’s adoption and integration into the global financial system. The panelists shared practical approaches for bankruptcy practitioners to identify, take possession of and manage cryptocurrency in bankruptcy cases. The panelists also discussed strategies for debtors in possession and bankruptcy trustees to preserve the value of crypto-estate property.
Alan Rosenberg represents bankruptcy trustees, creditors, debtors, and other parties-in-interest, in all aspects of insolvency proceedings and bankruptcy-related litigation, including, but not limited to, the sale of bankruptcy estate assets and the pursuit and defense of avoidance actions and other litigation claims.
