Alan Rosenberg Speaks on Subchapter V of Title 11 for American Bankruptcy Institute

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLNovember 11, 2021 – Alan R. Rosenberg, a partner in the firm’s Restructuring + Insolvency practice group, served as a panelist for a discussion entitled “Hot Topics in Subchapter V” for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s ABI Mid-Level Professional Development Program. The panel, which took place on November 9, 2021, comprised of bankruptcy practitioners, a subchapter V trustee, and a bankruptcy judge, explored the various “hot topics” in subchapter V cases, including challenging the subchapter V election, removing the debtor in possession, and the role and expansion of the subchapter V trustee’s powers. The panelists also provided helpful tips to ensure a successful subchapter V process.

Alan Rosenberg represents bankruptcy trustees, creditors, debtors, and other parties-in-interest, in all aspects of insolvency proceedings and bankruptcy-related litigation, including, but not limited to, the sale of bankruptcy estate assets and the pursuit and defense of avoidance actions and other litigation claims.  In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Alan also represents individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation claims and real estate transactions.  In his free time, Alan enjoys learning about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and has been published several times on the subject.
