Joshua D. Silver Elected to Board of Bankruptcy Bar Association

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLNovember 15, 2024Joshua D. Silver, partner in the firm’s Insolvency + Reorganization practice group, was elected as a director of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida.

 

Over the course of his legal career, Silver has developed extensive experience representing bankruptcy trustees, encompassing all facets of estate administration, including the litigation of adversary proceedings, liquidation of assets, objections to claims, as well as assistance with all other aspects of their case management and reporting duties having served as counsel to Chapter 7 trustees in over 800 cases.  Past and present clients include panel trustees in both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He also has significant experience advising and representing debtors, creditors and other parties in interest across diverse bankruptcy proceedings and facilitating and negotiating out-of-court workouts for clients.  Silver is an elected Director of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida, a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and has been named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers and an Up & Comer by Florida Trend’s Legal Elite.
