MIAMI, FL – September 30, 2021 – Lian de la Riva, a partner in the firm’s Trusts + Estates and Probate + Guardianship practice groups, has been elected National HNBA Young Lawyers Division Chair of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) for a one-year term. The HNBA is an association that represents the interests of over 65,000 Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, law students, and legal professionals. The Hispanic National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (HNBA-YLD) encourages young lawyers to work together on projects for their community and for their profession and to address the needs and interests of newly admitted attorneys. The HNBA-YLD is committed to representing the newest members of the profession effectively, ensuring that it reflects the society it serves and providing young lawyers with the tools and opportunities for success.

Lian concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and guardianship law. A frequent speaker and published author, she is a 2021 South Florida Legal Guide Up & Comer and a member of the Young Lawyers Section and Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar. In 2017, she was named a Fellow of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar for a two-year term. Lian holds a J.D. from Florida International University College of Law and a B.A. from Florida International University.
