Seven Attorneys at Markowitz Ringel Trusty + Hartog Named 2025 Florida Super Lawyers Managing Partner Jerry M. Markowitz Named to Top 100 Miami List

Miami and Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 26, 2025Super Lawyers Magazine, a consumer’s guide to top attorneys, has released its annual Florida Super Lawyers edition, recognizing the top five percent of attorneys in the state. Attorneys from the law firm of Markowitz Ringel Trusty + Hartog have been named Florida Super Lawyers for the past 20 consecutive years. This year’s honorees include shareholders Jerry M. Markowitz, Thomas Ringel, Candis D. Trusty, and Ross R. Hartog, along with partners Adrian C. Delancy and Alan R. Rosenberg. Partner Joshua D. Silver was selected as a Florida Rising Star.

Managing shareholder Jerry M. Markowitz, named a Super Lawyer for 20 consecutive years, is one of South Florida’s leading business and bankruptcy reorganization law practitioners and mediators. He is ranked in the 2025 Chambers USA in the Senior Statespeople category, named 2025 Best Lawyers in America, a 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyer, and a 2023 Florida Trend Legal Elite Hall of Fame honoree.

Founding shareholder Thomas Ringel, also a Super Lawyer for 20 consecutive years, is one of Miami’s foremost real estate attorneys. Shareholder Ross R. Hartog, named a Super Lawyer for 18 consecutive years, concentrates on representing trustees, creditors, and debtors in cases under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, as well as receivers and assignees for the benefit of creditors. He is a Chapter 7 and 11 Bankruptcy Trustee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. Partner Adrian C. Delancy, a Super Lawyer for 10 consecutive years, focuses on bankruptcy litigation, business liquidation, and reorganizations. Partner Alan R. Partner Joshua D. Silver has extensive experience representing bankruptcy trustees, handling all aspects of estate administration, including adversary proceedings, asset liquidation, claim objections, and case management and reporting. He has served as counsel to Chapter 7 trustees in over 800 cases, with clients in both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Silver also advises and represents debtors, creditors, and other parties in diverse bankruptcy proceedings, including out-of-court workouts.
